Nice place for a coffee and a toastie while the kids play. All relatively reasonably priced.

This is a little gem. Friendly staff and a proper old fashioned bacon sandwich - fresh white bread and plenty of good quality bacon. The cafe has beautiful views, located in the middle of the park. I wish I'd brought some cash as the little donation book library was amazing! There are plenty of light meal and drink choices and the prices are pretty reasonable.

Stopped off for a bacon sandwich and an indulgent hot chocolate. Friendly local cafe, great bacon and good prices. I recommend the hot chocolate for the theatre and gingerbread man alone. Will come visit on a park walk again soon.

One of my grandsons hurt his wrist in the park recently. The lady behind the counter in the cafe area gave me wife a bag of ice to help with the pain. She also advised my wife that even though the wrist doesn't look broken it may well be. Just wanted to say a big thank you to the lady concerned who was very kind and helpful.
